Stormy Day

While Arizona is famous for blue skies pretty much ALL of the time....it is absolutely GORGEOUS when the skies are angry!!! I took this picture about a year ago. It's one of my favorite "stormy" pictures. We don't have the opportunity very often to take pictures like this....so I am happy when the clouds come out!!

ARIZONA MORNING

10th Place

I won 10th place in another photo contest with this picture I took at the beach in NJ. The challenge was to have a "saying" or "Hallmark" type message on your picture that is related to it. 10th out of 112 isn't bad. heheheee

Clay Mobiles

I took this on the porch of a small business where the man hand makes clay EVERYTHING. These are some of the windchimes he had hanging on the porch. The makes all kinds of items, right there as you watch. Very nice man. The business is called "Mudslinger".

3rd PLACE

I won 3rd place in a Daily Challenge Photo Contest with this picture. The challenge was "selective color". Of course my Jeep is one of my favorite 'subjects'...and being eye-popping red didn't hurt. This picture is actually one of my favorite non-action of my Jeep, and I have an 8x11 framed print of it hanging on the wall near the kitchen!!!

OLD CHURCH

This is the church we went to one sunday. I used the Photobucket tricks to make it look like an old picture. I really think it fits the part!!!

Okay...so it's been a WHILE...

I took this at the Goldfield Mine. There were a lot of old cars, trucks, farm & mining equipment. I liked this tractor. I want to do a page of just the industrial and mining equipment I have taken pictures of at the different mines we have visited. I think that it can be so pretty!!!

This was just the outside wall of the livery stables. I thought it looked cool. I took it only in black....then regretted not getting a color picture, to compare. But I DO like how this one turned out.

Just a cool picture I took of some of the old buildings. I played around with the image on Photobucket and made it look old....but the the 'typical' old. I like it a lot!!!
